SurfThing Public Computer Privacy Policy
- We go to great lengths to disable the saving of data and/or the installation of programs. We have a safeguard that 100% guarantees that all data and/or installed software is completely gone after a reboot. SurfThing computers reboot automatically after 20 minutes of user inactivity and at 4:00am daily.
- The web cache is always emptied when the browser is closed
- No encrypted pages are ever saved to cache
- The browser history is turned off so customers cannot see where other customers have surfed
- We do not record any user specific information
- We use an application to log URL’s, much the same as search engines and most web servers; however, we, unlike most of them, do not record cookies. The log data is for the sole purpose of reporting to our advertisers. Each advertiser report includes only information regarding that advertiser’s own web site.
